Core Beliefs
The core beliefs we hold here at Adventure Natomas are based on the foundational truths taught in the Bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.
God
We believe there is one triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit in one, as revealed in the Holy Bible and made known in Jesus Christ our Lord.
Jesus
We believe that Jesus came in human form as the Son of God, being born of a virgin, living a perfectly sinless life on earth ministering in word and miracle and was nailed to a cross to die, taking the penalty of our sin. We believe he was raised from the dead and ascended to heaven where he is seated at God’s right hand and is coming again for his people.
Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the Helper, given to every believer at the moment they hear and believe the Gospel, and is actively working through the Christian community, empowering believers in truth to live a life of godliness and service.
Holy Bible
We believe that the Holy Bible is completely God-breathed, true in all its teaching, and the final authority for all matters of faith and practice.
The Church
We believe that Jesus Christ established his Church on earth to share the gospel and carry out his saving mission among all ethnic people groups and formed her to be One Holy People.
Salvation
We believe in God’s saving grace that rescues us from the penalty of sin. We believe salvation comes through faith, leading to repentance, confession, baptism, and new life and ministry through the Spirit.
The Lord's Return
We commit ourselves to the teaching, practice and defense of these truths until the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, which has been promised to us in the scriptures.
